Mr. James (Jimmy) Gerard Frierson, age 75, was born in Grady County, Georgia, to John V. Frierson, Sr. and Allie Mae Barber Frierson. Jimmy served, with pride, in the United States Air Force. For 20 years he worked as a crane operator for Culpepper Construction Company in Tallahassee, Florida. Jimmy drove a Grady County School bus for many years and was a retired farmer. Mr. Frierson lived in Grady County all his life. He attended El Bethel Baptist Church.

James (Jimmy) Frierson is survived by his sons, Darrell and Shane; daughters, Brittany, Peggy, and Grace; brother, John V. Frierson, Jr. and wife, Betty; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends and caregivers, Shelby Ezell Harrison and Leonard Clayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carolyn Frierson Harrison (Ralph) and Miriam Frierson Arnold (Jim).
