Edmund Buchanan Beeny, 80, passed from this life to his Heavenly Father on December 8, 1996. Death from natural causes.
He was born October 8, 1916 to Richard and Ida Beeny in Kentucky. He served his country with the U.S. Navy and as an officer with the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by a sister, Melba (Bob) Early; a brother, Richard (Luz) Beeny; family members, Sylvia Beeny, and Carol Anderson; grandchildren, Michael, Vicki, Kelley, Nikki, and Cindy; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sarah Afton and son, Carl.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 13, 1996, Evans & Early Mortuary. Burial Friday Dec. 13, 1996 at Midvale Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, December 12, 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
