FUNSTON -- Lee Ernest Lee Brownlee, 54, of Funston died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, at Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. J.W. Lewis officiating.
Born Sept. 9, 1948, in Chickasaw, Miss., Mr. Brownlee was the son of the late Josephine Brownlee and Lee Morton Brownlee. He was a truck driver and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lubirda Oneal Brownlee; a son, Lee Ernest Brownlee, Jr.; and a stepson, Charles Rhodes Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Joyce Brownlee of Funston; sons, Michael Leon Brown and Tony Rhodes; a daughter, Victoria Renea Coleman; stepchildren, Richard Lee Elston, Bobby Lee Rhodes, James Junior Rhodes and Michael Rhodes; brothers, Robert Lee Brownlee, Larry Joe Brownlee, Henry Lee Brownlee and Ronnie Oneal Brownlee; sisters, Virgil "Peggy" Traylor and Florine Tucker; and 20 grandchildren.
