BENNINGTON -- Annie L. Hart, 90, formerly of Beech Street in Manchester, died Saturday morning, Oct. 28, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

She was born in Dorset on Feb. 26, 1916. She was one of 10 children and the daughter of Frank Eugene and Lena Maude (Wade) Bolster. She attended Dorset area schools.

Annie was a former member of the East Dorset Congregational Church, enjoyed knitting, crocheting and any kind of needlework, and cherished times spent with her family.

Annie is survived by four sons, Allie Hart, Jr. of Manchester, Dana Hart of Hinsdale, Mass., Maynard Hart of Wichita, Kan., and Ken Hart of Bennington; two daughters, Lena Surrell of North Clarendon and Marcella Sheldon of East Dorset; 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie R. Hart, whom she married in Dorset in December 1938, and a son, Frank, who died in October 1996. Mr. Hart died in December 1979.

At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. Interment will follow in the family lot in Factory Point Cemetery in Manchester. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m.
