Early Life: Dean was born October 19, 1936, in Otto, Wyoming, to Alfred and Elsie Mildred Tolman Blackburn. He enjoyed the companionship of a large family and was proud to be known as Joe's older brother.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Dean worked at the Spanish Fork Foundry, in addition to his love of farming. Dean owned several Farmall Tractors and many enjoyed seeing his old tractors. He also enjoyed upholstery and raising corn, chickens and rabbits. Family was important to Dean, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved to give them dolls for Christmas and has continued this tradition with his great nieces and nephews. William "Dean" Blackburn peacefully passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Genola, Utah. He was 77 years old.
Survived By: His brother, Marvin (Barbara) Blackburn; a niece, Vickie Archuleta; and two nephews, Al (Shannon) Archuleta and Brian (Sheri) Archuleta.
Preceded In Death By: His parents, two sisters and five brothers.
