Virginia Mae Reser Yakumithis:

Beloved daughter of Carl Monroe Reser and Bertha Olive Buxton Reser. Virginia was the youngest child of this union, born on June 14, 1922, in Galion, Crawford County, Ohio.

Virginia was the sister to Harold (Jack) Leland Reser, Esther Ruth Reser Byrley, and Paul Ardean Reser.

Virginia was a determined student and graduated as valedictorian from Wayne Township High School in Union City, Indiana in 1940.

Soon after high school, she moved to Dayton, Ohio. While there she met Karl Emmanuel Yakumithis at a job interview in 1941. While neither of them left the interview with the promise of a job, they went on their first date and were inseparable.

Virginia Mae Reser married Karl Emmanuel Yakumithis on January 9, 1942, in Henry County, Ohio. Together they had two sons: Emmanuel (Manuel) Karl Yakumithis and George Paul Yakumithis

Together with her husband, she owned and operated the Baltimore Cafe in Toledo, Trailways Grill Restaurant in Cleveland, a Refrigeration Company, and several rental properties.

She loved reading, gardening, swimming, her loyal dogs, and spending time with her family.

Karl suddenly died in 1974. Virginia died on April 10, 2012, in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, at the age of 89. She is buried beside her husband at Forest Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
