Steven was born October 28, 1948 in Kankakee, IL the son of Robert Henry and Glenda Violet (Rippy) Sharp. He served in the US Army during Vietnam from May 31, 1968 until May 21, 1971. Steven worked as a machine operator at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon for more than 26 years. He also worked at Northend Shell gas station in Sterling for 13 years as a clerk. Steven was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sterling.
Survivors include one daughter, two sons, three sisters, two brothers, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
