Ella I. McCready McKay
Ella I. McCready McKay, 67, died Oct. 15, 1997, at his residence. A native of Skyler, Neb., she was born Oct. 23, 1929, to David and Minnie Hespen McCready, and had lived in Reno for the past two years, coming from Eureka, Nev. Mrs. McKay was a postmaster with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the American Legion and St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Her husband, Robert, died in 1990.
Surviving are son, David and sister, Pat Segura, both of Eureka; son, Douglas G. and daughter, Susan K. Dunt, both of Reno; sisters, Lorraine D'Arcy of Lincoln, Calif., and Darrell Rasmussen of Shingle Springs, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Walton Funeral Home, Reno. A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Albert's and 11:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Brendans, Eureka, with burial at Eureka Cemetery.
