Funeral services for Ralph Lewell Durr 76 of Epps, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi with Rev. Donnie Linson officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 1:00 PM until time of service. Burial will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home-Delhi.
Mr. Durr was a retired diesel engine mechanic.
He was born in Ajax, LA on December 23, 1937 and left this life at his daughter's residence in Denham Springs, LA on Sunday, July 27, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Georgia Joan (Evans) Durr; his parents Larry Ralph Durr and Cleo Eula (Boone) Durr; two sisters Elizabeth Word and Evaline Bail and two brothers Larry and Ray Lynn Durr.
Ralph is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Williams of Denham Springs, LA, Judy L. Cordova of Alvarado, TX, Jackie Clark of Delhi, LA and Sherri Durr Mathews of Epps, LA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers Wayland Durr of Monroe, LA, James B. Durr of Springfield, MO and Aubrey Durr of West Monroe, LA; two sisters Loretta "Polly" Rundell of Winnsboro, LA and Bonita York of Delhi, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
