Harry Dean Blair Sr., 45, of 1707 Viking Ct. was dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital Tuesday.

A salesman for American Buyers Club, Mr. Blair formerly worked for Westinghouse Air Brake Co. 23 years.

He had lived at 926 Cooper prior to moving to the Viking Ct. address about a month ago.

Born in Tempe, Ariz., Sept. 12, 1928, he was a son of Edward E. and Jessie F. Hinch Blair. He married Ada Mae Stiarwalt in Peoria on July 14, 1947.

He had played professional ball for one year with a farm team of the Chicago Cubs.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Harry Dean Jr., a daughter, Sharron, and his parents, all of Peoria; one brother, Darrell of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Freda Mae Wilson of Sterling and Mrs. Florine Starr of Peoria.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
