Married first, Howard Bradley Osgood, 16 Feb 1914 (divorced June 1919).
Child:
John Barham, b. 10 Feb 1915, d. 5 Oct 1959.
Married, second, Roy Harper Kuehling, 30 Dec 1919, in Mt. Clemens, MI.
Gertrude Viger, a Detroit heiress, drowned in the Potomac River under suspicious circumstances while canoeing with her husband Roy Harper Kuehling. Although the death was suspicious -- she had been planning to divorce Roy -- a grand jury decided not to press charges.
Roy went on to marry a second woman with wealthy parents, Kathleen Whitesell, in 1922. When she would not convince her parents to give him a large sum of money, he shot her in the head. However, she survived, and Roy went to prison for five years.
Upon his release, he married a third time about 1931; this wife, Veronica Weikert, died at age 45 on 18 Aug 1932 at Gallinger Hospital (a psychiatric hospital in Washington, DC) under unknown circumstances, and was buried with Roy's parents in Virginia.
Roy and his last lover, a married woman, died in a murder-suicide on a beach in Miami, Florida in 1934. According to the post-mortem, Roy drowned his mistress first, and then himself.
