Husband of Joyce for over 60 years and a devoted father to his son Donald and daughter-in-law Rebecca Hanna; doting grandfather to Jennifer and Corrie Hanna-Best (Timothy) and special great "Grandpa Dude" to Bethany Mehlenbacher, Quinton Best and Sadie Best. Predeceased by his parents, R.J. and Marjorie Hanna and by his sister Marion McNeilly and borther-in-law Don McNeilly. During WWII, Bill served with the Canadian Navy on the HMCS Inch Arran (1944) and the HMCS Ste. Therese (1945). Bill was appointed as the Port Dover Post Master in 1953 and diligently held this position for 34 years. Bill a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch #158 in Port Dover and of the Norfolk Stamp Club.
