Graveside services for Eula Bea Cox Vaughn, 87, of Athens, are scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Shelby Cemetery with Pastor Mark Fulks officiating. Burial will be in Shelby Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vaughn died July 27, 2014 in Athens. She was born to James and Mary Edwards Cox on December 27, 1926 in Athens. She grew up in the Bethel Community. She loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, and cross stitch. She also enjoyed canning vegetables. She loved watching Christian television and old westerns.
Survivors include daughters, Jeannie Dobbs and Mickie Dingler, grandson, Ryan Dobbs, granddaughters, Melissa Boyd and husband Chris, Anne McIntyre and husband Wade, great granddaughters, Taylor, Madie, and Emma McIntyre, great grandsons, Charlie and Chris Stringer, and Jake and Joey Boyd. She is also survived by James Ray Cox and wife Terri, Joyce Robertson and husband Gary, and many more relatives and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandson and great grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby Cemetery fund, 2880 CR 3815, Athens, Texas, 75752.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
