Lennis Marie Burgess Evans, 89, Clarksville went to be the the Lord, Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Evans was born July 4, 1921 in Burgess Town, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Branch Henderson Burgess and Ida Mary Burgess; sisters, Etta Mae Burgess Threet, Lois Burgess Ebach; and her husband, Robert Lee Evans Sr., of 51 years.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Susan) Evans, Jr.; daughter, Joyce Evans (Steve) Koerner; brother, Jim (Tip) Burgess; sisters, Alice Burgess (Wheeler) Miller, Thelma Burgess Wyatt, Christine Burgess (Charles) Turner, Duane Burgess (John) Turner; grandchildren, Thomas (Kim) Malone III, Tamara (Jake) Malone Anderson, John (Leah) Malone, April (Ken) Evans McCord, Joytina Malone (Mark) Cochran, Robert (Maria) Evans III, David (Shawn) Spink; great-grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Jordan
