Charlie O. Jones, 49, of 4626 Calvin, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness.
He was an aircraft electrician at Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was active in the Boy Scout for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine; two sons, Allan Dewayne and Dennis Ray Jones, both of Corpus Christi, and two brothers, Cecil B. and Hollis C. Jones, both of Belton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Seaside Chapel with Rev. David V. Spencer, officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
Honorary Pallbearers will be George Chavers, William Bond, Willis Waters, Val Grayson, Ronald Robinson and Walter Loving.
