Jerry R. Boatman, 52, of 2102 W. Callender St. died Monday, April 5, 1993, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born March 22, 1941, in Bloomington to Richard and Roberta Cooper Boatman, he married Sheryl Hurt on April 4, 1981, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, two sons, Gary and Karl, one daughter, Christina Boatman, and one brother, Jack, all of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a truck driver for Peoria Disposal Co. since November 1978. A Vietnam War Army veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2078 in East Peoria and Teamsters' & Chauffeurs' Union Local 627.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
