Miriam R. Lehman, 85, of Mt. View Terrace in Newville, went to be with her loving Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at 5 p.m. in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 26, 1921, in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late David B. and Susan Lehman Heisey and the widow of Glenn D. Lehman.
Miriam worked for the former Woolworth in Carlisle for 10 years, and had also worked at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg for seven years.
She was a member of Brethren in Christ Church for 65 years and attended Adult Day Care.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl D. Rhodes and her husband, Robert, and Marylin K. Nealy, both of Newville; a son, Maynard J. Lehman and his wife, Pam, of Dillsburg; a sister, Ruth Hensel of Mechanicsburg.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Troy R. Nealy.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Simon A. "Si" Lehman Jr. and the Rev. Alan Robinson officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
