MRS. SHELHAMER DIES AT AGE 82
The death of Mrs. Susan Shelhamer, 82, formerly of Rocky Run, occurred Monday night at 8:30 at the home of her son Joseph, Newark Valley, N.Y.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph with whom she resided; Edward, also of Newark Valley, Arthur, Endicott, N.Y.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Richie, Newark, Mrs. Ethel Rapp, Long Island City, N.Y.; Mrs. Helen Martin, and Mrs. Clara Smith, of Johnson City, N.Y. Also 19 grandchildren.
Her husband, John died in 1934.
Funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Shickshinny Protestant Church with Rev. William Shelhamer grandson of the deceased conducting the services.
Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. George Miller entertained the following over the week: On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver. Davies of Long Island, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Arch Turner and Mr. and Mrs. William Davies of Sheatown. Sunday guests were Mrs. Bertha Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Jones and family and Mr.
and Mrs. George Siggins and family of Reading.
