Married Clay Francis Coon June 8, 1946. He preceded her in death June 17, 1983.
Survivors include sons James (Marlene) and Charles (Diane) Coon; daughters Janet (Larry) Clark and Sara (John) Seaman; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and on great-great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
She was a 1944 graduate of New Richmond High School and Lafayette Business School.
She worked as a secretary and treasurer for the Cloverdale School System. She retired from IBM at Greencastle.
She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and formerly attended Waynetown Christian Church. She was formerly a member of the Maple Grove Home Ec Club, Psi Iota Xi Sorority and Eastern Star.
Service 3pm Sunday, July 27 at Shoemaker Funeral Home. Visitation 1pm until time of service.
Memorial donations to Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
