Mrs. Myrna Murphy
Mrs. Myrna Murphy, 59, wife of Jerome Murphy of Limestone, died Wednesday(April 22, 1959)at her home, following a brief illness.
For the past 30 years,Mrs. Murphy and her husband had farmed in the Belfast area. Prior to that time they were Falconer residence. Mrs. Murphy was employed by National Worsted Mills in Falconer.
She was born in Torpedo, Pa. Aug. 8, 1889, a daughter of William and Elma Clark Parker.
In addition to her husband, her survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alice Peterson, Limestone; a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Turner, Jamestown; four brothers,William Parker, Kiantone, Keith Parker, Garland, Pa., Guy Parker and Ray Parker, both of Jamestown; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm.Monday in Wolcott Funeral Home, Belfast. Rev. Everette Hendrickson, pastor of First Methodist Church of Belfast, will officiate. Burial will be in Belfast Cemetery.
