Sarah Emma (Ritenour) McGraw, 94, passed away from this life into her heavenly home on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Sarah was a resident of Sheridan, WY for 14 years.
Sarah was the oldest of nine children born to C. Richard and Evelyn Mae (Nesbit) Ritenour. She was born September 27, 1922 in Fairfield Twp., PA.
Surviving are her daughter, Doris E. (Kenneth) of Sheridan WY; her son, William E. (Diane) of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, William, Amy, Brian, Michael, Marsha, Wendi and Daniel; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Earl W., George E. and Donald C. Ritenour as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin; her daughter, Barbara and her son-in-law, Tak Fujimagari, as well as her brothers, Joseph C., Richard Glen and James A. Ritenour; her sisters, Anna Mary Reid and infant sister, Evelyn.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, May 21, at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. John Swanger officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA. The family was assisted by the Champion Funeral Home, Sheridan, Wyoming.
It was Sarah’s desire that memorial contributions be made to the In Home Services, Sheridan Senior Center, 211 Smith St., Sheridan, WY 82801 or to the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library 335 W. Alger, Sheridan, WY 82801.
