James Thomas Baker, 67, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alex Cooper, Thursday afternoon. He was a member of the Baptist church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie Z. Baker; four sons, Lester, Lamar and Boyce of Warren and James of Wooster, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Cone Kinard, Mrs. Prather O'Neal and Mrs. Alex Cooper of Warren; three brothers, Walter of Louisville, Miss., and Mike and Avery of Ingalls; one sister, Mrs. J.T. Vickers of Ingalls.

Funeral services were held at the Ebenezer church at 10:30 Saturday morning by the Rev. Tucker. Active pallbearers: Leroy Adams, Jim Givens, Norman Spraggins, Allen Spraggens, Arch Norman, Howard Berry, Lester Simmons and Erman Kinard. Honorary--Baldwin Meek, H.C. Spraggins, W.V. Tucker, Ben St. John, Jim Adams, John Adams, Will Adams, H.S. Neely and C.W. Reynolds. -- from the Eagle Democrat, Warren, Arkansas
