Obituary dated February 8, 1945 from Eagle Democrat - Warren, Arkansas:
Mrs. Margaret Vickers of Ingalls, aged 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. E. York of Hermitage February 5. She was born in Winston County, Mississippi on August 3, 1866 and was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Union Hill by the Rev. Rolla Nixon. Surviving are four sons, J. E., T. J., A. J., and H. G. all of Hermitage; five daughters, Mrs. M. E. York of Hermitage, Mrs. W. C. Sharp of Little Rock, Mrs. J. W. Clanton of Magnolia, Mrs. E. C. Knight of Warren, and Mrs. J. W. Jackson of Crossett; three brothers, Walter Baker of Lewisville, Mississippi, Mike and Avery Baker of Ingalls, 47 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. (Obituary courtesy of "CJ")
