Maggie the daughter of Mary E. "Mollie" Willbern and John Calvin Cate.
After the death of her husband, Morris, she lived alone for a while at the Dalles. She had progressive hearing and vision loss. She gave up her home and went to live with her sister, Lucille, and brother-in-law near twin nephews ( Wade and Wayne Rutland) who have ranches at Stockdale, TX. The twins had been orphaned and were raised for 12 years by Morris and Maggie.
After the death of her brother-in-law, the two sisters moved to Littlefield, TX. until 1983. Maggie moved into a nursing home in Littlefield until her death. She had heart disease.
