Earl Lamb, 74, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Monday, October 15, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Saint James Catholic Church in Vesper. The Reverend Chester Osowski will officiate. Burial will be in Saint James Cemetery.

Earl was born March 18, 1933, in Racine, to Charles and Bertha (Wagner) Lamb. From 1952 to 1954 he served in the U.S. Army. Earl married Rachel Brockman on July 27, 1957, in Vesper.

He was employed by Consolidated Papers, Inc. from 1951 to 1995.

Earl is survived by his wife; 10 children; 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronald; 3 brothers; one sister; and father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Doris Brockman.

Friends may call at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, and at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated to Hope Lodge or the American Cancer Society.
