Julian Lee Bass, Sr. -MACON - Julian Lee Bass, Sr., 82, passed away February 5, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Rev. Randall Mimbs will be officiating. -Mr. Bass was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church and attended Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church. He was also a member of Woodman of the World. Mr. Bass was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joe and Bertha Bass and a grandson, Burt Carroll. -Mr. Bass is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Brown Bass; four children: Virginia Mimbs (Randall), Shirley Carroll (Buck), Julian L. Bass, Jr. (Linda) and Jerry Bass (Cathy); eight grandchildren: Michelle Chapman, Michael Mimbs, Mark Mimbs, Brad Carroll, Julian L. Bass, III, Austin Bass, Justin Bass and Brian Bass; five great-grandchildren: Kristin Wellman, Taylor Chapman, Reese Mimbs, Tyler Mimbs and Hudson Mimbs; brothers: Milton Bass, Herbert Bass and Jack Bass; sisters: Louise Barnes, Mildred Parks and Evelyn Fish. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00P.M.
