Carol M. Lockhart, 83, of Bowling Green, passed away Sept. 12, 2013, at Christian Health Center at 7:15 a.m. Carol was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Allen County. She was preceded in death by her son Robin Lockhart; her parents, the Rev. Sidney B. Moore and Ollie Holder Moore; and three sisters, Gypsy Blair Moore, Trilby Hamner and June Bradley.

Carol was a retired English teacher for 35 years from Western Kentucky University and member of First Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She graduated from Bowling Green High School, Western Kentucky University, with a degree from George Peabody College. She was an avid bridge player and loved crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends. Cremation was chosen by the family
