Grover "Boody" Cheek, resident of Dinwiddie County, Va., passed away Saturday, July, 12 2014.
He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Cheek; sister, Nancy C. Britt; son, Mark Cheek; daughter, Rhonda Koon; stepson, William Minshew; stepdaughter, Sandra Gaskill; with six grandchildren, Jamie Koon, Steven Koon, Michael Gaskill, Dylan Gaskill, Shannon Gaskill and Leilani Routzon; also three great-grandchildren, Jordan Hersh, Heaven Sullivan and Winter Sullivan.
His love for music lives on in his children and grandchildren, come celebrate this love at the memorial service held at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 22218 Dabney Mill Road, North Dinwiddie, Va. 23803. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, Boody has asked for donations to be given to the church.
