FREDERICKSBURG - Benno H. Eckert Jr., 79, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at his residence. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with graveside service in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schaetter Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jane Evers Eckert of Fredericksburg; daughters Dianne Staudt of Fredericksburg and Susan Brandenberger of Hallettsville; son Gordon Eckert of Fredericksburg; and brothers James Eckert of Stonewall and Harvey Eckert of Stonewall.
