Permilla F. Reed was the daughter of the late James and Lena Lambert. She was born in Bowden, WVA on November 24, 1923 and went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 16, 2014. Permilla was married to the late Charles L. Reed on November 30, 1940. They have three surviving children, Carole Mae, Marilee, and Jim. She also has six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Reed attended Bethel Temple Church and served in the nursery, Sunday School, and hospitality. In her youth, she was a nurse's aid at Altman Hospital. Later, she was a line supervisor at Central States Can for several years. Upon her retirement, she and her husband traveled nationally and internationally, and hobbied in antiques which they enjoyed immensely. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 in Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel located at 705 Raff Rd. SW, Canton, 44710. Graveside service to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park at 5001 Everhard Rd.
