Patricia Ann McCain went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Bakersfield.

Patricia was born on March 24, 1932 in Lexington, Okla. to George and Margaret Farley. She was the fourth child of eleven children. She was raised on a farm and learned to drive behind the helm of a tractor. In high school she was on the basketball team and became the captain. Patricia worked as a waitress to earn money to buy supplies for her schooling.

Patricia came to California in 1951 on the train and met up with a high school friend. She met Kenneth McCain through her high school friend and later that year married him. They had six daughters. In 1956 they had four girls and one on the way, then they moved their family to Tehachapi where they had their last two girls.

In 1964, Patricia was hired to work at Spencer Lee's Garment Factory, became the office manager, and worked there for 16 years. She met many wonderful women there and became lifetime friends to many. She worked in Bear Valley Springs as a receptionist at the front desk and cashier in the restaurant. She enjoyed her co-workers and customers as well. She later went to work for Gong's Pharmacy which kept her in contact with the people of the community.

Patricia later married Dewey Allen from North Carolina. Together, they manage the Mobile Estates Mobile Home Park and became friends to many who resided there.

Patricia loved her family dearly and was loved dearly by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Patricia loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible everyday. In 2007 she was baptized at Stallion Springs Community Church.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Margaret Farley; brothers, Louis, Gene, Greg and George Paul Farley; sisters, Dorthy Osborne, Gertrude Soldolski, and Barbara Farley. She is survived by her six daughters and their spouses, Patricia (Annie) Crawford, Gloria McCain, Linda (Steve) Koyamatsu, Lenora McCain, Teresa (Patrick) Weaver, Kenni (Hal) Ennis; 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; her brothers, Paul and Jerry Farley; sister, Mary Brooks and three sister-in-laws who were just like sister to her, Imagene, Ramona and Loretta Farley.

The last year of her life she moved in with her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Patrick Weaver. They took care of her until her passing. Patricia's final resting place will be in Lexington, Okla.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Calvary Chapel of Tehachapi, 15719 Highline Rd.
