Dorothy Agnes Osborne, 75, died Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Wadley Care Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lexington Catholic Cemetery with the Rev. Duane Elmore officiating. Wadley’s Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Osborne was born Jan. 4, 1930, to George Paul and Margaret Mary (Feuerborn) Farley in Slaughterville. She grew up and attended school in Slaughterville. On June 29, 1968, she married Jess Dean Osborne in Purcell. She worked as a seamstress and aide. Mrs. Osborne moved from Gerty and resided in Lexington for the last two years. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and visiting with her family and friends. Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son; four brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by sons Butch Chitwood and wife Willa Jean of Ringwood and Louis Chitwood of Enid; daughters Peggy Morgan and husband Darrell of Lexington and Debbie Burgin and husband Mike of Enid; brothers Paul Farley and wife Imagene and Jerry Farley and wife Romana both of Lexington; sisters Pat McCain of Calif., Gertrude Soldolski of Norman and Mary Brooks and husband Glenn of Lubbock, Texas; sister-in-law Loretta Farley of Lexington; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
