He was born September 27, 1881, in Uniontown.
Surviving are his widow, Ella Fern (Colflesh) Wirsing; three sons, Theodore, C. C. and Donald of Harnedsville; seven daughters, Mrs. Louise Eleanor Koontz, Miss E. Helen Wirsing and Mrs. Mary Lou Morrison of Harnedsville, Mrs. Ruth Shope of Uniontown, Mrs. Sara Spear of Addison, Mrs. Shirley Graham of Listonburg and Mrs. Geraldine Schengost of Pittsburgh; a brother, a sister, 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
