Dennis Edward Patton was born on December 24, 1933 in Houston County, Texas, to the parents of Adoulphus and Carrie Elizabeth (Lamb) Patton. He was the 10th of 11 children.
Dennis was raised in Houston County. He graduated from Crockett High School (Ralph Bunch) in 1953.He accepted Christ early in life and united with Miles Chapel CME Church in Crockett, Texas.Dennis was retired after working as custodian for Dallas I.S.D.
On July 15, 2014 in Clovis, New Mexico, Dennis left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adoulphus and Carrie E. Patton; four brothers, Lester Patton, L.D. Patton, Earl Patton and Earnest Patton; four sisters, Sallie Rhodes, Marie White, Routene Gray and Alma Hollins.
