Born June 14, 1920, in Lewistown to Howard and Della Harns Brooks, he married Merilee A. Beasley on April 16, 1950, in Peoria.
She survives, along with one sister, Mrs. Jean (Urla) Juaire of Peoria.
A World War II Army veteran, he worked at the former Little Giant Products Inc. in Peoria for 30 years, retiring as vice president in 1982.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
