MARSHALL, N.C. - Milure Tweed Gentry, 77, of Cutshall Town Road, Marshall, died Friday.

She is survived in Limestone, Tenn., by a son and daughter-in-law, Blanco and Linda Franklin.

Mrs. Gentry was a lifelong resident of Madison County, a daughter of the late McKinley and Della Ray Tweed.

Additional survivors include her husband: Fielding Gentry; two other sons and a daughter-in-law: Lawrence and Linda Franklin and Bruce Gentry, all of Marshall; four grandchildren including a special granddaughter: Theresa Franklin; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Etta Hensley of Marshall, Cleo Blake of Gastonia, and Manilla Czerniak of Toledo, Ohio; and a brother: Hartford Tweed of Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: Lewis Franklin; two grandchildren; and two sisters: Sovonin Cantrell and Inez Franklin.

The family received friends from 7-9 Sunday evening at Bowman-Capps Funeral Home in Marshall.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Memorial Church of God with interment in Garfield Franklin Cemetery. The Rev. Winfred Shelton will officiate.
