Surviving are wife, Carlette West of West Columbia; father of Dalzell; son, Cory West of Pelion; stepdaughter, Holly Skenes of West Columbia; stepson, Top Skenes of West Columbia; sisters, Mona West Johnson and Rebecca Thomason, both of Sumter; brother, Benny Richard West of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Garrett Skenes.
