Born in Marion, N.Y., she came to the Georgetown area with her husband, Bruce, about 10 years ago from New York. She worked as a factory worker in New York. She was a member of The Georgetown United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Stone, in 2011.
She is survived by a brother, Jessie Nevelezer of New York, and three sisters, Naomi Jackson of Mississippi, Ruth Cook and Esther Deys both of New York.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16 at the Georgetown United Methodist Church. Services will begin following the visitation at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Karl Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the careful care of Clayton Frank & Biggs Funeral Home, Crescent City.
