Minnie E. Halsema, 88 of 707 North county Road 725 W, WL died at 7:24 p.m. Saturday in Home Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been in failing health since the first of the year.
She was born at West Point, September 17, 1897. A lifelong resident of the Lafayette area, she was married in Lafayette to Cornelius Halsema on May 6, 1914, and he died in 1921.
Mrs. Halsema was a member of St. Boniface Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edna Ade and Miss Marie Halsema, both of West Lafayette. Also surviving is a grandson, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren
