The funeral of Mrs Henry Pratt, of Manotick, an aged and most respected resident of that community, who died on Sunday evening, was held yesterday to Manotick Presbyterian church and thence to Kars cemetery for interment. She was in her 83rd year, and sixty-one years ago her marriage took place. Besides her husband she leaves six sons and two daughters. They are: Messrs. Samuel Pratt, North Gower; Ferguson, Wilson and Stinson Pratt, Kars; Isaac and John Pratt, Manotick; Mrs Thomas Beggs, Manotick; Miss Margaret Pratt, at home, and an adopted daughter, Miss Mary Pratt, also at the homestead.
Mrs Pratt, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Stinson, was born in Huntley, and her father was John Stinson, of Bell's Corners.
