Josephine L. Johnson age 89 years of West Union, Ohio died Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home. Mrs. Johnson was born October 18, 1924 the daughter of the late George Noble and Lottie (Hatcher) Bredon in Charleston, West Virginia. Besides her parents Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband Dillon Johnson, son Stephen Johnson, sisters Freda Helterbridle, Francis Crummie, Ines Keaton, and brother George Bredon Jr.

Survivors include daughter Donna Spires of West Union, Ohio; son Danny Johnson and wife Janet of West Union, Ohio; three grandchildren Glenna (Spires) Kirker and husband Dave, Jeff Spires, Joseph Johnson, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 3:00P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Volley Reed officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Burial will be held at the West Union Cemetery following cremation.
