Patricia J. Patty Brown age 66 of Williston, FL passed away on January 3, 2013. She was born on October 19, 1946 in Ocala, FL to John W. Mixson and Violet Reynolds Mixson.
She moved to Williston, FL 15 years ago from California. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Flemington Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, watching cooking shows, riding in the semi during the summers with her son, but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. She was described as being just a mother hen to all she knew.
She is survived by her husband Robert Brown of 44 years; sons Michael W. Brown (Dee), Steven T. Brown; daughters Kimberly A. Brown, Jill Brown, Kristine Sweet-Lee; brothers John Buddy Mixson, David Mixson; sisters Shirley Carrier, Debra Burton (Robert); grandchildren Matt, Hunter, Scott, Deborah, Tyler and step-granddaughter Crystal .
Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 1:30pm at The Flemington Baptist Church. Funeral service is to follow at 2:30 pm with Reverend Jerry Philman officiating. Interment is to take place at Flemington Cemetery.
