She lived in Bollinger County her whole life.
She married Marvin Shanks on Jan. 21, 1921. He died February 11, 1977.
She was a member of the Locust Grove Church of Marble Hill.
Survivors are four sons, Roscoe Shanks of Marble Hill, MO; Weldon Shanks of Marble Hill, MO; Frank Shanks of Marble Hill, MO; L.J. Shamks of North Augusta, SC; four daughters, Almeta Baker of Marble Hill, MO; Berona Wilder of Marble Hill, MO; Lula B. Mazzarella of Wood River, IL; and Marabeth Grant of Wood River, IL; 25 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, three sisters, one grandson; and one great-grandson preceded her in death.
Service will be at Locust Grove Church. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery with Baker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
