Funeral services for Robert Harlin Wells Sr., 80, were conducted Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, in the Cotten-Bratton Chapel in Weatherford. Burial was in Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County.
The veteran of 20 years of military service died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006. He joined the U.S. Army after graduating from Granbury High School.
He was born in Granbury Sept. 6, 1925, the son of Robert Tony and Laura Edith Rains Wells.
He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church and a Master Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge for 55 years.
He and his wife were married 43 years before her death Nov. 27, 2001.
Survivors are a son, Robert “Robby” Wells Jr., of Granbury, cousins and friends.
