Funeral services for R.T. (Tony) Wells were held Wednesday May 31, 1967 at the Temple Hall Methodist Church, Rev. Jack Riley officiating. Mr. Wells passed away May 26 in a Ft. Worth rest home.
He was born in 1900 and was a lifelong resident of Hood County.
Survivors are two sons, Leonard Wells of Grand Prairie and Harlan Wells of Saigon; two sisters, Mrs. John Porter and Mrs. Tom Matlock of Granbury, a half-sister, Mrs. Katie Henslee also of Granbury.
Burial was in the Long Creek Cemetery. Pall bearers were Pres Walden, Albert Hall, Doyle Hutcheson, Clyde Gibson, Albert and Earl Porter.
