Services for Norman E. Davis, 60, of Abernathy will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilcox, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home.
Davis died Friday, May 7, 1999, in Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Ralls. He graduated from Floydada High School in 1957. He graduated from West Texas State College in Canyon in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 until 1964. He married Betty Martin on Jan. 31, 1970, in Dumas. He moved from Dumas to Abernathy in 1983 and was employed with Northrup King in New Deal for 35 years. He was a member of the Abernathy First Baptist Church and was a volunteer firefighter in Abernathy.
