Miss Sarah Frances Garvin
Services for Miss Sarah Frances Garvin, 66, of Santa Monica, Calif., were held at the Westwood Village Mortuary in Los Angeles, Calif. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery at Dubuque at a later date.
Miss Garvin, formerly of Dubuque, died Jan. 21 in a Santa Monica hospital after a long illness. She was a graduate of the University of Dubuque, and was a teacher in the commercial department at Senior High School for many years. She previously taught in the high school at Galena, Ill.
Surviving is a brother, G.S. "Ned" Garvin of Marina Del Ray, Calif.
