Phyllis was a kind and caring person as well as a faithful wife and mother. She was a life long member of the Carson City United Methodist Church. She owned a yarn shop in Crystal, Michigan for many years. She loved to knit and crotchet. Phyllis loved her job at McDonalds in her later years, where she enjoyed spending time with her many coworkers as well as visiting with all of her many friends from town who were frequent visitors.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Kathy (Craig) Warfield, Lisa (Wes) Jenson, Christopher (April) Ross and William (Timothy) Chase; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends including her very best friend Dorothy Sherd and her beloved sister-in-law Norma Horn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Marion Wheeler, Margaret Evans, Richard and Billy Yocum; husband, Harold Ross; and son, Robert Pitcher.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 6:00pm at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City. Visitation will occur from 4:00pm until the time of service.
Note: Phyllis Marie (Yocum) Ross died after a long bout with alzheimers disease. She was 86 years old.
