George Richard (Dick) Yocum passed away at his home in Miami, Florida, on April 18, 1977 at the age of 48. He was born February 17, 1929 in Mendon, Ohio, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wavel Strayer Yocum. He was a 1947 graduate of Carson City High School in Carson City, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; a son, David; three daughters, Diane, Dawn and Denise; and one grandson, six weeks old; three sisters, Mrs. Marian Wheeler of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Margaret Evans of Allegan, Michigan, and Mrs. Phyllis Ross of Carson City; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held, April 20, at Boca Raton, Florida.
*He was cremated and his remains scattered at sea at his request.
