Glen E. "Pops" Bell, age 83 of Sylvania, died Friday, July 13th at Crowne Health Care. Funeral services are Sunday at 3:00 PM CST at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Haynes and Rev. Dan Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Unity cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 AM to 8 PM CST Saturday and 10 am until service time Sunday.
Survivors include, wife, Nellie Faye McKenzie-Bell, daughters, Barbara Harp (James), Shirley Ball (Wade), Kay Lancaster, Faye Wilbanks (Raymond), son, Gary McKenzie (Linda), brothers, George Bell and Ross Bell, sisters, Rose Ingram and Roxie Fugate, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bell was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of High Point Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Rufus and Maggie Alice Brown, wife, Shirley Bell, brothers, Fletcher, Clyde and Tom Bell, sisters, Lucy Overton, Lois Lowe, and Helen Easter.
